The Troop Held a Committee Meeting on February 19th . In attendance were Mr. Anthony, Mr. Bell, Mr. Burton, Mr. Clary, Mr. Crist, Ms. Dulny, Mr. Gouldmann, Mr. Luken, Mr. Myers, Mr. O'Brien, Ms. Podhorniak, and Mr. Smith. Mr. Gouldmann led off the meeting with the Lord's Prayer. The Next committee meeting will be March 18. Meetings are held in the Church Lower Room and begin at 7:00 . Please remember that all troop adults are encouraged to attend these meetings.

Next Camping trip - March 12, 13, and 14 Shawnee Ski trip and March 26, 27, and 28 Dulaney District Camporee.

Broadcreek Houak Lodge camping trip in February - The boys concentrated on learning scout skills in preparation for the camporee. Thanks to all adults that helped in teaching the skills. In attendance were:

Boys - DAN, RICKY, BRAD, DUSTIN, CHRIS, KEITH, CLOVIS, BRENDAN, ALEX, CHARLIE, MATT, SCOTT, SCOTT, KEVIN, SHAWN, KYLE, CORY, ANDY, ANDYL, CHRIS, ALEX, BRETT, NICK, AJ, CHRIS, JIM, and BILLY.

Fruit Drive - The troop will take part in one more fruit drive in March . Orders are due March 11 th . Valencia oranges are $12 for ½ case and $21 for a whole case. Honey Murcott tangerines should be available at $7.50 per 8 pound bags and as always grapefruit will be available. Please label your order forms clearly. Please help out and sell as much as you can. Bring fruit orders to the scout building on Thursday March 11th from 7:00 to 8:00 . Mr. Luken will be available there at that time. If you can, give your buying customers a call prior to March 20th to remind them to pick up the fruit as early as possible on Saturday March 20th .

Eagle Advancement - Scouts who are working on eagle projects or are close to selecting projects are requested to attend the March 18th committee meeting to update the committee, discuss their plans and receive words of advice and encouragement.

Back to Fundamentals - The committee discussed the need for the scouts to better know basic scout principles such as the scout law and oath. In addition, the committee thought it would be helpful to review their responsibilities in conducting board of reviews. Mr. Clary and Mr. Burton will continue to work with the older scouts on leadership skills.

Utah/Arizona trip - Mr. Luken reports that the vans are reserved. Airlines reservations are next. The list of those going needs to be final.

Order of the Arrow - The ordeal must be completed within one year of the elections, not when tapped out. The troop needs to schedule an election date.

Easter Candy orders due March 19th - Remember this directly benefits the scout.
