The Troop Held a Committee Meeting on September 8th. In attendance were: Mr. Freeburger, Mr. Gouldmann, Mr. Crist, Mr. Clary, Mr. Cox, Mr. Dulny, Mr. Luken, Mr. Myers, Ms. Homes, Mr. O'Brien, and Mr. Swiston. Mr. Gouldmann led off with the Lord's Prayer. The Next committee meeting will be Wednesday October 13 th in the Church Hall. All troop adults are encouraged to attend these meetings.

New Eagle Scouts - The troop has four new Eagle Scouts! They are Charlie, Chris, J.D., and Dan. Congratulations to all for reaching this milestone.

Advancements - The scouts have been very busy this summer. The following scouts have advanced in rank: Andy-First Class and Star, Brendan-Second Class and First Class, Scott-Life, Scott-First Class, Cory-First Class, Chris -Tenderfoot, Clovis-Second Class, Tyler-First Class, Brett-First Class, Brad-Star, Alex-First Class, and Christopher Howe-First Class. Congratulations to all of you!

Scout Eagle Project - Mike presented his completed Eagle project to the Committee, which was approved.  Great job Mike!

Camp Cone October 8, 9, and 10 - The Troop will concentrate on cooking skills. This is always an enjoyable (and close) camping trip.

Fruit Drive - Because of the numerous hurricanes in FLA , the quantity and cost of our fruit may be affected. More information on this will be in the next Hiker.

St. Joseph 's Church Cat's Meow replicas - These are available for $25 each. The troop still has 27 more to sell to break even. If you are interested, please see Mr. or Mrs. Dulny. If a handy person is willing to make a small enclosure to display the Cat's Meow Church in the vestibule of the Church, please see Mrs. Dulny.

Brownsea Leadership training October 14 thru 17 - The troop is sending 8 boys plus JD and Mike will be on staff. Troop 746 adults handle all of the cooking for this event. If you can help please let Mr. Henry Ritter know.

Adult Training Records - We'd like to know who has current scout training. Mr. Pat Myers is now keeping track of this information. Please contact Mr. Myers to let him know.

Adult Training Opportunities - New Leader Essentials 1.5 hour training will be October 19, 2004 at the Salem United Methodist Church , 7901 Bradshaw Road , Upper Falls . If you are interested call Susan Hutton at (410) 838-2927. New Leaders Essentials and Cub Leader one day specific training will be on October 23, 2004 at the Valley Baptist Church , 1401 N. York Road . For information call Arnie White (410) 256-4396. And finally, Troop Committee Challenge 2 hour training will be on October 26, 2004 at the Salem United Methodist Church . A few Den Chiefs are needed - The Cub Scout Pack is looking for a few scouts willing to be Den Chiefs. If you are interested please see Mr. Burton.

Eagle Ceremony for Charlie and Chris is October 22nd - Class A uniforms including dark shoes is required. Please bring a bottle of soda and a dessert per scout or family attending.
