Between 10 and 12 February 2006 Scouts from Troop 746 had fun camping at Camp Rodney. The threat of snow could not hold back the boys anticipation of tomahawk
throwing, slingshot target practice, hula-hoop rolling (and all Scouts came back with all their fingers and toes). The boys also learned how to move firewood and under Mr. Joe's excellent tutelage how to cook.
The boys experienced a quiet reverent prayer service led by Chris, then a roudy campfire skit led by Ricky. Everyone woke up Sunday morning to a winter wonderland of snow and had to endure a late departure from
Camp Rodney due to at least a dozen fallen trees from the 14" snowfall. In no real order, here are just a few of the photos. Click on the thumbnail for a larger version. |
